Buying Suggestion

I have used intel based macbook pro for long. It still works, but support will be ended soon. So I have now three configurations in mind:

1. MacBook pro -24/1Tb M5 pro- 2437 euro

2. MacBook pro -32/1Tb M5- 2299 euro

3. MacBook air - 24/1Tb M5- 1618 euro

If I opt out for M5 configuration, will there be major difference between air and pro? Actually who needs m5 pro chip? More ram is now my priority, but also want to know with one charge which stays longer?

Does MacBook air suffers when multiple browsers are open? Basically I keep so many tabs open and my macbook pro used to be irresponsive after some time. My MacBook pro had 8gb of ram and 256gb ssd, 2019 model.
