Server connection issues in EU?

anyone else able to launch the game and search for a match but then unable to connect to the servers? been trying to reconnect for 20 minutes and afraid my best loot post expedition is forfeit.

down detector has a fair few spiked in reports of server connection issues in the last couple hours but I've not seen anything on here about it.
