Outlet not working

Last night one outlet in my house stopped working. It has my refrigerator plugged into it.

The outlet is measuring approximately 55 volts when using a multi meter between the hot and neutral terminals in the outlet. I took off the wall plate and pulled the outlet out, measuring the wires, still connected to the outlet, I am reading approximately 55 volts.

What are my next steps? I will hire an electrician if needed, but I am wondering if this is just me needing to go buy a new outlet?

Wiring is newer, copper, 3 wire (white, black, ground).
