terrible experience at SGH. how's your experience with hospitals in SG?

they are so severely understaffed and i really feel bad for the nurses but this is not the standard of healthcare we should be getting. "big" doctors don't even bother to visit their patients in the ward or call family members and it's impossible to contact anybody. junior doctors and some nurses are just rude and lack basic empathy. i get that they are busy and overworked but this is a matter of our loved ones' health and we are still paying through our nose only to be treated like they're doing us a favour. and this is a SGH specific observation, not all govt hospitals - i've had way better experiences with CGH surprisingly.
