Edge MTB acting weird on a specific location

I have had the Edge MTB for some time now and I like it very much. However, I've noticed something weird. For commutes, the Edge MTB auto-pauses when I have to stop (stoplight, whatever, don't judge ;-)) and in one specific location, after stopping, it keeps switching back and forth between active and paused. That only happens at that specific location. As I don't believe in wormholes are timeloops, what could be causing this?

Just up front: this is not something that would be a dealbreaker for me. I find it puzzling, that's all and I wonder what's causing it.
