Rural areas - No connectivity

Just wondering what people do in rural areas with no signal and you have to call a customer as they are not at home and no safe place/no neighbours.

I hate seeing that red banner "no connectivity".

Driver support is no help either if they cannot get through to the customer.

You know it will be a ding if you do a return back to the depot without calling the customer twice (had this a few times over the years).

Just wondering, if there are any tricks I am missing, or do you just take a punt of leaving at the address.
