The Fear of Staying the Same
I’m tired now. It’s like a soul exhausted from living in a body that feels like a physical barrier between me and my own life.
Being obese was never just about the looks for me. It's the mental math of every chair, every staircase, and
every social gathering. It’s the knee pain that greets me every morning and the constant BP checks that pisses me off.
I used to think using a GLP-1 was the easy way out.
But after years of losing and regaining the
same 50 pounds, I’ve realized there’s nothing easy about staying miserable.
I’m not looking for a miracle,I’m looking for a fair fight. I’m terrified of the needles and the
side effects, but for the first time, I’m more afraid of staying exactly where I am. Tomorrow, I am finally starting my GLP-1 journey and I am really nervous. Will keep updating on my experience here just wish me luck for now.
