Should my LOR mention a specific program if I'm applying to multiple related fields?

Hey everyone, I’m planning to apply for a Master’s in Robotics for the winter semester. I noticed that there are only a few pure robotics programs and most of them have very high requirements. Because of that, I’ve also shortlisted some related programs like Mechatronics, Autonomous Systems, and Intelligent Systems.

I have a small doubt about Letters of Recommendation (LORs). From what I’ve seen, LORs usually mention the specific program name the student is applying to. In my case, though, the programs are closely related to robotics but not always called “Robotics.”

What should I ask my professor to mention as the program name in the LOR in this situation? Should it be something more general, or is it better not to mention a specific program at all?
