Just diagnosed, does this count as a special interest?

I was just diagnosed, mid 30s, bit of a shock.

Some things have been a struggle in life and I recently found out what ADHD was, I figured I probably have that and went down that route, and yes I did but I was also diagnosed with ASD.. a shock but not a total surprise.

Still trying to navigate through this new awakening. I want to know.. is that what a special interest is?

I have a thing about islands, I a
