Had a customer cry over cantina

So I'm a manger at a Taco Bell and today I started my shift and we ran out of cantina chicken a lady comes thru her order has everything sub to cantina chicken so when she got to our window the girl at the window was trying to find out what she would want instead calls me over and I explained what was going on if she wanted cantina chicken she could wait 20 minutes for it to be ready tears start coming from this woman's eyes and I'm like oh god she keeps asking what to do and I'm just like either we can pull you up and bring your order out when it's ready or we make your order with regular chicken and next time she comes thru we can remake the order with cantina chicken and then she was satisfied with it being made with regular chicken still crying it was idk I get she paid extra and everything but this lady is 40-50 years of age and I've worked at different McDonald's locations and this is my first time managing at a Taco Bell and I've never experienced someone crying over something we very temporary out of idk just wanted to rant about it cause it was blowing my mind
