Those Dirty Little Scammers…

I have a recurring monthly payment setup that’s handled through my PayPal that withdraws from my checking.

I’ve had a real low bank account balance lately so my PayPal balance ended up being negative because they still processed the payment for me. So I go in to zero it out and set up a transfer. The interface looks different, must have been an update at some point. No problem, I get everything rolling.

My balance now says it’s $50. Wait, what? No I just zeroed it out. I realize they just put through the payment to zero out my balance as well as another transfer of $50.

It would seem that they went ahead and turned on “auto-load” for me at $50 whenever my balance gets too low without me selecting it. How nice of them! 🙄 Only now they want almost a dollar to give my goddamn money back or I have to let them hold my money for 3-5 days. I really hate little sneaky shit like this.
