worsening lesions but normal bloods?
hi i’m 19F and back in june i got strep throat for the first time and it was awful, after that all my symptoms came on within weeks of eachother and became disabling very fast. i have many issues such as skin rashes, GI problems, nerve pain, headaches, joint pain and stiffness, severe fatigue and constant nausea and ofc the classic dry eyes and mouth. i got sent for an ultrasound on my salivary glands in november, the scan came back that i had multiple lesions in my salivary glands but rheum told me that it couldn’t be sjogrens because my bloods are normal and because of my age and even with sjogrens at my age there normally wouldn’t be lesions. all my bloods have been normal the whole time which i cant understand because even my inflation is normal when i’m showing visible inflammation in my joints and skin. i had another scan today that shown my lesions have got much worse within 4 months and the radiologist told me it’s very typical sjogrens disease based on the findings, or if not then it’s something very similar. has anyone else experienced this type of presentation i just don’t know how to have rheum take me seriously. I’m deteriorating as the weeks go on and im just being passed pillar to post.
TIA
