Interns transfer or VTAC application for midsem intake???

I’m currently in my first year of a bachelor of design (majoring in architecture) and I’ve realised this isn’t for me. I want to get into biomed or science at uni Melb or Monash and I’m wondering if I should drop out of my course?? I feel like my atar is pretty solid (95.65) (ps I know it’s not a 99.95 don’t flame me 😩🫰) and I’m worried about getting a high WAM because I’m quite new to architecture. If I were to drop out I’d do like an allied health course or something. But yeah is it risky to drop out? Will they prioritise internal transfers and ppl with a WAM over just VTAC applicants? Yeah pls give advice guys 🌝🙏
