Capitol War Pre S1

We just had our Capitol War a few days ago and the Server that we faced reigned control, So my question is Since We're In the President’s Position of Our Server when we rotate out with the next top 2 Alliances to allow them to take Power do they have to fight the Server that won our Server War to get control of it or does the Server that has it lose the claim of our Server when We Rotate Control?
