Can we just take a breath and take it into perspective

Yeah its disappointing we lost and that 3rd was frustrating as anything. But let's put it into a bit of perspective

Before the game many thought we would lose easily. This is a side that we all think will finish 12th or lower.

Playing against a side that won 8 of their last 11, who the season before with the same core made a GF, a side who made a GF 2 years before that with the same core, who added a 2 time Coleman medalist and who many have as a top 4 premiership contender.

That third quarter said a lot more about the Swans than it did about us. They are a stacked side with elite players. They have 9 blokes that have been All Aus.

We will learn more by week 5 with this side than by just tonight. Whilst it's frustrating that it's the same old Carlton no one actually thought we would win. To be up at half time gave people a false sense of reality. We are a 10 goal worse side than the flag contenders. I think we all know that.
