First time Thailand between mid may - late June

Hey everyone,

I’m 21 and planning my first ever solo trip and also my first time outside of Europe to Thailand. I’ll be free from mid-May to late June and I’m thinking about doing around 3 weeks of backpacking.

Is this a good time of year weather-wise?

I’m mainly interested in islands, beaches, good food, and meeting other travelers or locals.

Would really appreciate any advice on whether this timeframe works well for those plans, especially considering the weather. Thanks!
