First fertility treatment experience… and it scared me!

Before IVF, I tried IUI. Honestly I was very scared of any fertility treatment back then.

My first IUI experience was really bad. It was so painful that I actually fainted. I felt like my lower body was getting pulled apart (and I am not even exaggerating). My BP dropped and they had to put me on glucose. Not sure what went wrong because the doctor didn’t really explain much and just said everything was fine.

After that I changed the hospital and continued my treatment there.

Did anyone else have an experience that was supposed to be “simple” but felt really uncomfortable or scary for you?
