I had been meticulously breaking into houses on your street for over a week now. Each tine successfully robbing them of their valubles. Leaving no clues to my identity. I would always make sure no one was home first. An empty house is so much easier to steal from.

Today it was your house. I had watched from afar as your family left for work and college. Once I was convinced I wouldnt be disturbed, I quickly gained entry.

The ground floor was full of goodies, and I had already filled 2 sacks before I head upstairs.

Then I heard it: the shower was running, someone was humming to themselves. The house wasn't empty, someone was at home. I know I should have run, but something made me continue upstrairs.

I saw you through the crack in the bathroom door, scrubbing yourself in steamy shower, your back to me. I pushed the door open wider.
