Beast in AOS?

Hi, so know that the beastmen were moved from AOS to old world but I was wondering how practical it would be to star a beastman army for AOS today. They still have rules for playing in AOS so it's theoretically possible, but are those rules going to go away, is an equivalent beastman army going to tern up in AOS rendering them obsolete?
