The Arabic Tutor Who Helped Me and My Child Actually Learn the Language (After Years of Trying)

I wanted to share something here in case anyone is looking for a genuinely great Arabic tutor.

I’m a native English speaker, and after living in the region for years, it never sat right with me not knowing the language of the place I’m living in, so about 3 years ago, I started searching for someone who could help both me and my child learn Arabic properly. I wasn’t just looking for basic phrases, I wanted to actually understand the language, be able to read it, write it, and speak it with confidence.

After trying a couple of tutors and going to an institution that teaches Arabic for non native speakers, we eventually found one who completely changed our experience with learning Arabic. We’ve now been learning with her for 3 years, and the difference is incredible. I can now speak, read, and write Arabic, and my child has progressed so much as well.

What makes her different from other tutors we tried is that she doesn’t just teach vocabulary and grammar. She also teaches about the culture, history, and traditions of the region, which makes learning the language so much more meaningful and interesting and somehow manages to make a language that once felt intimidating feel very natural to learn. My child actually enjoys the lessons, which I honestly didn’t expect at the beginning.

I’m posting this because I know how hard it can be to find a tutor who is reliable, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in your progress. She has been a huge part of our learning journey and deserves more students who appreciate the kind of effort she puts into teaching.

If anyone here is looking to learn Arabic and wants a tutor recommendation, feel free to message me and I’ll happily share her details.

Just thought I’d put this out there in case it helps someone the way it helped us.
