**Received this garbage of a card -** *A tale of shame.*

I applied and within 7 days I was issued a canara bank credit card with 2 lakh limit.

I received card after another 7 days , because ofcourse SPEED POST

I activated it by setting pin and tried to do online transactions. It kept getting failed. Customer care said, wait 24 hours after setting limits. I waited. Still online payments Kept getting failed.

They said set pin again and try after 24 hours, I did. Still failed.

They said, turn on international transactions too, wait for 24 hours and then try using it on paytm or phone PE. I did. It again failed.

I turned on and off multiple times, changed pin multiple times and not a single transaction worked.

All of them said "canara bank failed to validate the card". Customer care said, 1st try on POS and then it will work. I did.

Used the card on POS and it worked on POS with the PIN I had generated using the canara bank app.

Next tried online payment and GUESS What? it failed again.

Now canara bank can't raise the complaint on call. I will have to send an email to them for the same issue.

I'm going to cut the card in half and close my account in my next visit to the branch or via canara bank app.

Canara bank sucks.
