Titration question

Been looking around and researching about titration since starting 3 days ago for suspected bipolar 2

Psych has me going from 25mg daily to 50mg twice daily, in two weeks time.

Seems to be a big jump and everything I find seems to agree that this is a big jump.

Just wondering if anyone else has ever been on a plan like this?
