Unlocking zombies and snake is missing?

I’m wondering if the two issues I’m having are connected. Snake has peace’d out and I have bloody nails and buckets of blood to give him, and I can see the chained up zombie and have been able to see him for weeks but no zombie cut scene yet.

Wondering if there are skills or other things I’m missing somewhere - as far as I know I’ve been progressing as I should in alchemy etc.
