Is it standard practice for gym-goers to be filmed and put on social media?
I recently joined a gym and the classes are videoed at some point and put on social media stories daily and they make a new post every few days with pictures and videos of people there. Essentially, if you're going there, you're gonna be on social media daily.
I don't have social media and I never have for my own personal beliefs. I totally understand if you are out in public or walking down a city street and someone gets you on video, but it seems strange to pay a premium price to use a business and every day they are coming down to the mats and videoing you.
It’s not the end of the world and I'm not gonna stop going there solely because of this, I was just wondering if this is standard practice and what you would find in most gyms.
