Has a card limit ever made you miss a flight upgrade?

Was flying Dubai - London and thought screw it, let’s try to upgrade for once.

Go to pay and my Revolut card throws a “daily limit exceeded” message and sends me into their verification flow. By the time I’m uploading selfies and notes the upgrade seat is already gone.

Ended up stuck in 31B the whole flight. After that I started keeping a backup for bigger payments. I ended up trying Keytom since they mention higher limits. Haven’t had the same issue since, but yeah lesson learned about relying on one card when you need to pay fast.
