Where to?

Hi, been a fan of mecha for a very long time, since i started anime and gundam is something i didn't really have much contact with that deeply except for IBO and the few snippets of urdr hunt. The animation puts me off mostly.

Is there a watch order to the gundam anime in general or regarding individual series because i want to get into it. I'd appreciate any and all recommendations. Also I am interested in those during the time of the calamity war if that has been covered in depth in any anime.

If not, do you have any information if and when an anime adaptation regarding the calamity war will be made?
