**Hello** r/UndertaleAU ! 👋\*\*

Recently while browsing the internet, I came across an AU called **Asgartale**, and I was honestly really impressed. At first, when I heard the name, I thought it had something to do with **Asgore**, but it actually turns out to be a combination of **Norse mythology (Asgard) + Undertale**. I’m not sure if many people know about it, because I haven’t really seen it discussed before.

# ⚡ What is ASGARTALE? (Short Summary)

**Creator:** BL24G

**Concept:** Undertale characters are placed into the **Nine Realms of Norse mythology**, and each character becomes a mythological figure.

# Main Story

**Sans Odinson** (Sans, the Thor of this universe) is manipulated by **exiled Loki Chara**.

Under Loki’s influence, Sans ends up **killing his own brother Papyrus and his father Odin**. His weapon is **Mjölnir**, Thor’s legendary hammer — but in this universe it is depicted as an **axe**.

Before dying, **Odin protects himself with ancient runes**, meaning he isn’t actually dead — he only appears to be.

Sans then **conquers all Nine Realms and becomes King**.

But things get even more complicated:
The **fire giant Surtr Asgore** (yes, Asgore) is imprisoned beneath **World Daisy Yggdrasil Flowey** (Flowey has become the World Tree!). Surtr is destined to **start Ragnarok**.

Meanwhile, **Loki Chara trains Frisk**, teaching them **time magic** in preparation for revenge.

# ❓ Questions for You

• Has anyone here heard of this AU before, or is it **completely underrated**?

• What do you think about **Sans being Thor**? Thor is usually portrayed as a heroic figure, so making him a **brother-killer** is an interesting twist.

• Which other Undertale characters could fit Norse mythology roles?
(For example, **could Undyne be a Valkyrie?**)

• Who do you think would survive **Ragnarok** in this story?
Personally, I think **Surtr Asgore might burn everything down**.

*Note: I have no connection with BL24G. I’m just a fan who discovered it and thought an AU this detailed and mythology-inspired deserves more attention.*

**What do you all think? I’d love to hear your opinions! 🎉**

I discovered an AU that combines Norse mythology with Undertale: **Asgartale** (Sans becomes Thor, and Flowey becomes Yggdrasil!). ⚡🌳
