Late game LoV slowdown

I noticed I started to get some serious late game slow down when playing LoV. I got a 4090 and 64 gigs of ram which can haul me along real fast for hundreds of in game years, but after a while it seems the LoV for me starts to sloooooooooow waaaaaay doooooooown.

Anyone else experiencing something similar?
