Quuestion on egg bloom in regards to incubation via broody hen
This morning I discovered that my fluffy void Keiko the black amerucauna has gone broody on three eggs. I wanted to give her a few more to increase her chances of at least 2 chicks. The eggs I took from the adjacent nest had freshly broken egg all over them. Is it better to wash the dirty eggs so the pores are not blocked? If I wash them, will the lack of bloom have much effect on viability of the embryos?
