I've never done this and read the advise.

I am a husband looking to get some bags for my wife. She would kill me dead if I paid authentic prices. BUT I don't want to skimp on quality. Looking for the look and feel of auth. I don't want her called out everywhere, so I am not looking at the typical, everybody has the rep bags. We often go to higher end restaurants for date nights so it will be in areas where people do have authentic, but nobody will examine.

I've narrowed down choices to what i think she would like (note, I complain when I need to buy a new $25 wallet for myself).

I will gladly do research, but looking for knowledgeable people to head me in the right direction.
