How many of you use Grasshopper for FDM 3D printing workflows?
Hi everyone,
This is my first post here, so hopefully this is the right place to ask.
I’m curious how many people here are actually using Grasshopper in Rhino for FDM 3D printing with thermoplastic materials (PLA, PETG, ABS, etc.).
Most workflows I see online still rely on exporting the geometry and then using a traditional slicer, but I’ve also seen examples where people generate toolpaths or even full G-code directly in Grasshopper.
So I wanted to ask: Do you use Grasshopper in your FDM workflow? Do you generate toolpaths/G-code directly in Grasshopper, or just model there and slice elsewhere?
Would be great to hear how others are using Rhino + Grasshopper in actual printing workflows.
Thanks!
