Gyno at a hospital just refused my ADA request that she mask during my procedure. She said she found no clinical evidence that people with EDS are immune compromised.

I know that is not true and walked out, telling the office manager who was explaining this refusal to me that if the Dr refuses to mask I refuse to have her as a dr. Doesn’t seem like a good idea to have someone who is clearly hostile towards me/skeptical of my health stick things inside my body and rip out my flesh.

Please give me any studies y’all have to back this up and advice on what to do now?

I specifically said this was an ADA request- so they broke the law right? Can I sue? I would love some compensation for the recurring emotional damages I am suffering from this happening over and over. I will obviously be filing a complaint with the state and hospital.

I am so sick of having to beg drs to protect my health and then them treating me like shit and like I am unreasonable and then getting mad at me and refusing to wear the proper PPE.

If I get something like covid like, i could be so fucked. I hate this reality so much. I just wanna take care of my health without ending up even more disabled.
