Storage for figures

I was wondering if you all had any ideas/advice for storing figures not on display? Right now I just have them in cardboard boxes but I would like to store them in something alittle better. Is there anything in particular you all use that doesnt damage the figures and also that you all store accessories in? Thank you!!
