Both eyes are done, love the results!

Hey all, I just got my second eye done on Tuesday, my first post the day before my first surgery is here: https://www.reddit.com/r/CataractSurgery/comments/1r6ie26/cataract_surgery_tomorrow

At my followup yesterday my right eye, which was just operated on Tuesday, is 20/20. My left eye which has retinal damage from glaucoma, is 20/40. I have worn glasses since childhood and have never been able to see this good. Before the surgery my left eye was useless (very blurry no matter what) and my right eye carried the load but was still slightly blurry even with a contact lens due to the cataract. The doctor also did a goiniotomy at the same time during each surgery to help reduce my pressures.

I got J&J Odyssey Toric IOL's and am very happy with the choice so far, I only need +1 readers for about 16 inches and closer. The doctor is happy with the placement and said it will only get better and in a couple of months we will see if anything can be done to improve the left eye. The doctor that did my surgery is a glaucoma specialist so he will know what to do, even if he can't get it any better my results have been fantastic.
