Help for a newbie?

Usual when I play career mode it’s normally on FC26 and obviously that doesn’t take a lot of effort and time, but I’m looking for a more realistic way to play a manager career and have been recommended football manager. Any suggestions for someone starting that doesn’t know the ins and outs?
