Question on micro-compacts during hiking/physical activity

:post-discussion: discussion

Hey everyone, I went for a walk in the mountains with my partner recently and with the weather warming up, I'm thinking IWB with my G43x isn't going to be ideal. It is a little bulky with the optic and light, and I sweat like a priest in a daycare and don't want to get it all over the gun.

Now, I could go the chest bag route, since wearing one of those is pretty natural in this setting, but I wanted to hear your experiences and recommendations with things like the bodyguard2.0 or LCP and similar firearms. This is not for bear defense, since we only have black bears out here and they respond well to being told to fuck off.

The LCP or Tomcat 30x (has a rebate offer currently, brings the price to just above the LCP and might be a fun suppressor host) are high on my list of options right now as potential pocket carry guns. What do you all suggest?
