Leave of absence due to my father's passing. Rez-One Hespeler Ensuite (May-Aug) - $900. Please help

Hi everyone,

I’m facing a sudden family tragedy—my father recently passed away after suffering a cardiac arrest at the gym, which tragically resulted in brain death due to lack of oxygen. Because of this, I have to take a leave of absence from school for the upcoming term to be with my family.

I urgently need to sublet my room in Rez-One (Hespeler House) from May to August 2026.

If you or anyone you know is looking for a place this summer, it would mean the world to me if you could help me take this off my plate.

Here are the details of the room:

• Location: Hespeler House (252 Phillip St, Waterloo, ON, N2L 0E2)

• Price: $900 CAD/month (Water, hydro, and high-speed internet are ALL included)

• Layout: All-female 4-bedroom suite.

The Room: It’s the innermost room on the far right. Because it's tucked away from the kitchen and living area, it is incredibly quiet. Bonus: The two middle rooms might be empty from May-Aug, so it will be extra peaceful!

• Bathroom: You get your own private ensuite bathroom.

• View & Lighting: Mid-floor unit. It gets amazing afternoon sunlight and has beautiful sunset views.

• Convenience: Literally a 3-minute walk to the UW campus. Downstairs is a plaza with tons of restaurants, grocery options, and bus stops right outside the building.

• Roommates: The remaining roommates are friendly, quiet, and clean UW students.
