16M, Is it normal to be insanely shy around girls but a completely different person with boys?

Okay so I'm 16M and I genuinely want to know if this is normal or if I'm just socially dumb or something 😭like around boys I'm a completely different person I'm loud, joking, doing stupid shit, full bachodi with the group but the moment I'm around girls my brain just shuts down I suddenly become the quietest, most awkward person alive I don't know what to say, how to talk, nothing even basic conversation feels weird like there was one embarrassing moment there was a girl in my school who had a crush on me and we used to talk sometimes not in school on social media so one day she said she was going through her periods and I literally asked her "Is it a disease or something"😭 I was completely serious because I genuinely had no idea about it at that time she had to explain everything to me and I felt so dumb and embarrassed so yeah that's the level of my interaction with girls meanwhile with boys I'm basically the opposite and it's not like I never had female interactions I had but still I'm like this and end up dry texting so at the end they stop talking to me. Is this normal for guys my age or am I just socially weird around girls?
