Help me find this one song!

I have had one lone from a song stuck in my head on and off for months and I cannot find it. All I remember is this:

-Male singer -The line "at first I was (i think afraid is the next line), and no it's not I will survive 😅🤣 -I think another line in this song is "down, down, down" and not those songs, trust me -Imagine it's vibe is like someone would use it in an amv over an anime character struggling and training
