Teaching in Hamburg.

Moin! I needed to ask for some advice from you guys incase even one of you has had a similar experience.

I'm an English teacher by trade, moved over with my girl and am navigating this kind of work in Germany for the first time.

Does anybody have any experience with actually getting a part/full-time teaching contract with a language school here, or is it so uncommon?

Does anybody currently working in a language school have to be a receptionist also? Office hours? I'm told it's all the rage in every other language school too.

Currently have classes in an academy but these people are unabashedly taking the piss, but I've called and called around but no luck just yet.

Thanks for reading and possibly helping a mf out
