Been keeping my eye on the Astral 5090 BTF lately.

Amazon had been hovering at 3-4 resellers with the usual mark up for weeks when it use to be sold out regardless of price. Then past week ALOT of restocks hit. B&H,Amazon. Asus website. They all got multiple restocks and didnt sell out instantly. Both B&H and amazon had then for almost an hour before selling out.

After Amazon's stock sold out (MSRP & sold and shipped from amazon) I checked and # of resellers jumped from 4 to 12...all sporting significant markup.

Noticed last couple days a couple of them dropped their price down to MSRP+tax.

Then a couple days ago this guy reaches out to me.

I think people are finally drawing a line, and units aren't moving with a premium markup.

Short of maybe the FEs, I think its resellers buying all the inventory. I think resellers have made this shortage/market 200% worse then it should of been. Yes AI caused some but im saying resellers exacerbated it SIGNIFICANTLY

Its my hope, and if there is any god at all, all these resellers are going to be sitting on a ton of inventory and not able to move it....and maybe just maybe with a little luck even have to take a loss.

If we fellow consumers all band together and stop giving in to our FOMO and panic buying and draw a line in the sand we might just beable to take our hobby back.

I know it's not easy, I been guilt myself before, but if we say no, there is power in numbers, hell just look at the gamestop short

Market observations...stabilizing?
