Urethroplasty day 2

Hi guys, little update from yesterday.

I spent rest of the day laying in my hospital bed, other than usual catheter discomfort I have't had any pain. I got my lunch and dinner which were soft and cold, you should not eat anything hot after getting graft taken.

I didn't sleep much at night because of catheter discomfort and my usual problems with being awake till 3-4am. I do think you could sleep well, but I think it depends on a person.

This morning I finally got up and it was really nice to take some steps. Again, no pain in scrotum. Cheek also doesn't hurt, but it has a constant feel of numbness, it's like dentist is giving anesthesia over and over again and you don't really feel that part of the face, just little burning and feeling of less elasticity.

I left the hospital at morning hours. Slow steps and straight to the car. Get someone to drive you, I put the seat in most reclined position so I can lay in a car. I'm now home and got some sleep finally. From stories I've read here I thought this first days would be hell, but it really isn't that bad. If you got used to catheter it will be even better.
