Veterans beware: Mountainview Vision Center issues

I am a disabled veteran and the VA sent me here for eyeglasses. The VA pays for me to get glasses. The doctor was actually very nice and the appointment went well.

The problem is the frames. I have been there at least four times because the glasses keep falling apart. Their own technician even showed me how the frames were flawed with crooked screws.

Instead of fixing it they tried to give me a discount like they were helping me. Then they hung up on me. The bottom line is they are taking taxpayer money and not providing what we paid for. Now even more taxpayer money is being wasted because VA employees have to spend their time moving my care to a different place.

If you look at their Yelp page you will see some hidden reviews from Feb 19, 2026. They are fake 5 star reviews from people with zero friends or history. They all talk about a "clean office" to try and manipulate the review scoring. Yelp already caught them and hid the reviews.

Be careful if the VA tries to send you here. I suspect that their VA set of frames are cheap and breaking.
