First appointment with oncologist

So I’ve finally got to see the oncologist, not great news but nothing I didn’t know. She told me as long as I don’t walk in front of a bus then I’m not going to die imminently but it’s incurable and we’re just buying time.

It’s aggressive and she’s worried about the spread on my liver more than anything.

I’m going to be starting xelox and bevacizumab as soon as possible.

The appointment with the nurse last week was awful, I left feeling like there was no hope but the actual oncologist today couldn’t have been nicer with all the facts.

Right now I don’t need to see the scan pictures or hear the prognosis though
