Lunar tides did nothing to my hair

Been dying my hair black for years, finally wanted to start phasing it out of my hair so i chose magic oracle to help the transition. I've been growing my roots out for maybe 2 months and im a natraul blonde. finally used it and it did nothing to my hair. Shampooed my hair earlier in the day and had nothing else on my hair. has this happened to anyone else?? i cannot think of any reason why it wouldn't dye. kept it on for 45 minutes. super confused and disappointed :(
