Level with me, what was your first potluck contribution?

I actually ended up missing the very very first potluck in my game because I accidentally missed the deadline (Didn't realize it wasn't an all day so showed up an hour after it ended) so my first potluck was year 2.

Absolutely whiffed it, the second I realized the judge was having a bad reaction I panicked and restarted the day to look up what actually would go well in the potluck. But looking back now, I can't help but wonder if anyone else fell for the same thing I did.
