Best HDMI/DP to USB-C for Luma Glasses

Hello everyone! I recently bought the Viture Luma Cyberpunk Glasses, and though my Microsoft Surface Pro and ASUS ROG Ally have compatible USB-C Ports, my main Desktop PC does not, and that's what I really wanted to game on with full graphics.
I tried buying the official HDMI XR adapter but it's incompatible with Lumas unless you upgrade the firmware using an Apple device. I unfortunately do not own Apple devices, and ended up getting the HDMI XR adapter refunded. Even if I would borrow a device from friends or family, it would only work if I had a second lightning to HDMI + Lightning adapter.

Does anyone know if there are any 3rd party HDMI or DP to USB-C adapters that will work with the Luma Cybers?
