40 [M4F] #Anywhere / India - Looking for my end game.

TL;DR: Seeking a geeky, non-religious music lover. Someone cute, loyal and caring. For something serious, ideally life long, but open to seeing where it goes. Everything below is a lil serious (who I think I am) and a lil silly (about who you are supposed to be). Most of that isn’t important, tldr has everything I think is important.

Looking for someone somewhat similar, ideally for something long-term, possibly lifelong. I’m not looking for anything platonic or anyone who isn’t serious about finding a life partner.

Here’s some basic, random info about me:

• I completed both my Bachelor’s and Master’s in one field, worked in a completely different one. Right now I am trying to figure things out.

• My humour leans silly (like this post), dark, and sarcastic. I’m goofy, I say dumb silly things, and I enjoy playful roasting. I can take it as well as I give it.

• I drink socially, usually with a small circle. On average, that’s about 10–20 occasions a year (roughly 40–60 drinks).

• I rarely smoke; I’ve had fewer than 100 cigarettes in my life.

• I’m neutral about tattoos on others, but I don’t see myself ever getting one.

• I’m an atheist.

• Music moves me more than anything else.

• I operate heavily on logic. Maybe too much. It can get tiring.

• Politically, I’m a left-leaning social moderate; just slightly left of center. I agree with some left views and some right ones that don’t go against human rights. I believe in a mixed economy, I’m not conservative, and I strongly support separating religion from the state.

What do I love?

• My favourite movie is School of Rock. I also love the LOTR, Red, and Bourne franchises. Pixar movies, anything Superhero is unmissable.

• I enjoy reading, though not novels, nor books. I spend a lot of time reading about history, philosophy, and science online.

• I mostly watch sci-fi and sitcoms. My favourite shows are Doctor Who and FRIENDS.

• My taste in music is eclectic, but rock dominates. Especially classic and progressive rock.

• I’m a dog person. I like cats too, but if I ever had a pet, it would be a dog; probably a black Lab. Realistically, I may never have a pet.

• I used to game casually, though it’s been a while.

• I’m really into photography and used to carry my DSLR everywhere in the pre-Covid days.

Things I want to do (fantasies that may never come true):

• Move abroad for a while then come back.

• Travel internationally to experience cultures and authentic cuisine firsthand.

• Build a Gaming/Media room with a massive projector, a powerful PC, and a racing simulator setup in the middle.

• Own a small cottage on a secluded hilltop, complete with a backyard observatory for photographing stars and distant galaxies.

Who am I?

• Brown eyes, black hair, glasses, Indian and I’ve been called handsome by women who weren’t related to me.

• I like maintaining a 5 o’clock shadow, don’t shave often. Growing a full beard isn’t always possible due to alopecia.

• I’m around 170 cm tall and currently about 69 kgs. That might be considered “fit,” but with my thinner frame, I know there’s room to improve.

• I’m consistently trying to be healthier and a better person overall.

• I believe I’m a good person, or at least I genuinely try to be.

• I don’t lash out with curses in anger because hurting someone verbally isn’t worth the guilt afterward.

• I’m geeky and endlessly curious. I’ll spend hours learning things that don’t practically benefit me at all, which sometimes feels like a curse.

• I get distracted very easily; I have ADHD sprinkled with some freshly acquired depression.

• I eat meat (mostly chicken). I haven’t killed anything myself, but yes, I do eat animals.

Who you’re supposed to be:

• Music matters deeply to you too. You’d happily attend most concerts, provided the company (me) is right.

• You’d rather spend on a 15-day trip than on buying a new car.

• You’re atheist or agnostic. Spiritual is okay if you’re otherwise wonderful.

• You’re excited to explore new cuisines and understand that food tastes differ across cultures.

• You’re not vegetarian or vegan.

• You enjoy cooking and especially experimenting with new recipes. Ideally something we could do together.

• You’re a genuinely good human being.

• You either want to move abroad, already have, or come from a more socially and politically liberal environment.

• You’re not easily offended. You understand that dark, sarcastic, or rude humour doesn’t equal lack of care. You can recognise sadness and still find humour within it.

• You read this long post because you’re shocked someone this oddly specific exists and is using R4R.

• You believe loving good food and caring about health can coexist and should.

• You enjoy deep conversations and can passionately debate for hours without resenting someone who disagrees with you.

• You’re logically driven too, and I am the only stupid you’ll do.

• You’re generally not addicted to anything.

• Your version of being drunk is catching a light buzz, never losing control. You’ve never blacked out (once or twice is forgivable).

Obviously, not every single item here is a deal-breaker. The most important themes are music, food, and religion.

Send your questions, criticism, sympathy, or outrage to my inbox. If you relate to even 10% of what I’ve written (especially the logical part) I’d genuinely love to hear from you.
