Hand skin reaction

hello all,

does anyone else deal with the back of their hands getting dry, scaly, and bloody? this happens when my gi tract is messed up, i've been dealing with gastro issues for years now. my hands only flare up when my gi tract is not right. i did learn that i have non-celiac gluten sensitivity and my hands look like this if i consume gluten. but i have been strictly gf for years now (my partner and i have separate toasters, i do research on products i put on my skin, only eat out at legit gluten free places, etc. i take it as serious as having celiac bc gluten makes me so sick) so now i'm stumped as to what is causing my hands to be like this.

and trust me it's not eczema or dry hands, no matter how much lotion, body butter, working hands, aquaphor, etc. i use my hands look like this when my digestion is not right. but i will have periods of time (unfortunately very small) where i don't have any stomach problems and then my hands heal and are back to being soft smooth skin!! (without the use of any lotion) it's like my hands are a physical indicator that my internal body is not well. i've obviously brought this up to many different doctors but nobody has an answer for me so just wanted to see if anyone else could relate, thanks in advance 🙏🏻
