The kingdom had achieved peace and all seemed well on the surface. Both king and queen found themselves beloved with the people. Perhaps less so in their court, with various noblemen still attempting to find ways to power, but alas quelling their ambition simply was impossible. Still things were mostly good. Yet every court holds it secret. The sort only the servants or guard knew about, simply because you could hide anything from the sheer amount of people within the castle. Granted those of the lower folk usually were good at keeping those secrets out of fear for the retribution that surely would come.

The princes nameday was to be celebrated with a grand tourney he would participate in. The cause for celebration was all the greater with him returning an acomplished field-Commander after vanquishing the last of their enemies and bringing them under the kings heel in his stead. How much of that campaign truly was to be credited to prince and what perhaps belonged to advisors didn't matter much for a smallfolk in the mood for feasting.

Only that needs to be sent to fetch the young adult upon him not showing up on time. The servant, unlike the king and the other nobleman of course knew what would expect him. Walking throughout the endless hallways of the castle the man directly headed towards the queens instead of the princes own chamber. Finding him sitting in a chair and upon closer inspection with the queen on her knees between his legs.

“..My Lord, the tourney is about to begin” The servi says, hoping they would not bother to remember his face once the duo throw annoyed gazes back at him.

So yeah thats the small prompt!

As far as plot/the scene goes, I thought it could be fun to maybe start after the tourney has concluded! Maybe there’s a feast or they merely seek each others chamber, I am open for ideas!

As mentioned above I'd be looking interested in Worldbuilding and some plot as well, I do enjoy the drama or political stuff those sorta settings give myself!
